SHIBORI NOTECARDS
Shibori Notecards are created with my hand-pleated and hand-dyed shibori patterns on silk dupioni fabric. I hand-dye each piece of silk in the same manner as my shibori scarves, but instead of steam-setting the pleats, I iron the fabric flat and insert it permanently in the cardstock window. The cardstock is thick, slightly textured, white, acid-free paper with a front window. The fabric does not show through to the inside. The envelope has a deckled flap edge and a moisture adhesive seal. Card and Envelope are standard-sized 5" x 6-7/8" with a 3-1/4" x 4-5/8" window and each set arrives in it's own sealed bag for protection.
